Thank you to Marquis Energy for coming to do a presentation to Mrs. Bell's class about what ethanol is and a condensed version of the process it takes to make it. Students got to see the difference in the quality of burning gasoline and ethanol. They also learned about the byproducts of the ethanol production process, as well as sharpening their teamwork skills with a trivia game.

Today the BVJH students celebrated being on Honor Roll all year with a field trip to the Fun Station! The students had SO much fun and it was a great way to celebrate all their hard work in the classrooms this year!!

Our BVJH track kids had a great weekend competing at the state track meet! We are so proud of all of them as they ended their junior high careers on the state track! Waylon: 15th out of 21 runners in the 200 with a PR as well. Chris: 18th out of 25 runners in the 400 with a PR as well. Travis: 11th out of 18 runners in the 800 with a PR as well. Gavin: 22nd out of 23 runners in the 800. Abby: 24th out of 29 runners in the 200. Aubrey: 15th out of 25 jumpers in the long jump with a PR as well. Madisyn: 5th out of 25 jumpers in the long jump with a PR as well. Kynzleigh: 19th out of 24 runners in the 400. Harper: 31st out of 37 runners in the mile. Our 8th grade girls 4x200 relay, Aubrey, Madisyn, Lola, and Abby, placed 10th out of 17 teams with a PR as well. Great job athletes and way to represent BV! Go Storm!! ⛈️
