This week in Mrs. Kuelper‘s fifth grade science class we learned why you need to clean a fish tank but not a pond. The students did an activity to create an ecosystem for their fish with a healthy carbon dioxide level. They had to have three fish foods, two decomposers, and as many producers to keep within the healthy carbon dioxide level for their pond.
