7th grader, Stevie Davis, was nominated by Mrs. Price to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. over the summer. She learned more leadership skills, met kids from all over the country and did some site-seeing, too! We are proud of you Stevie!

It is that time of year again, our High School Dance Team will be offering Storm Sweeties again this football season. It is open to all PreK-5th grade students and there will be a dance clinic on Sunday, September 14th from 1:00-2:30 and they will perform at the game on Friday, September 19th at halftime. Pictures will be taken tonight at 3:00, and following that they will have practice indoors. There will be activity shuttles provided to the other towns after practice.

With the heat index and temperatures, tonight's home softball game has been canceled and rescheduled to August 26th in Manlius with a start time of 4:30. 8th Grade Night will remain on Monday, August 25th.
The team will have their team pictures at 2:30 and then will board the buses to go home, as there will be no practice after school either. Please contact the jr. high office with any updated transportation changes or questions. Thank you and we are hoping the weather cooperates the remainder of the week.

With summer winding down, don't forget to sign up your child for junior high softball or baseball if you are interested. Softball will begin practices on July 28th at the high school at 3:30 and baseball will begin on August 4th at the Wyanet diamond at 5:30. Please make sure all paperwork is turned in prior to the first day of practice for either sport. All paperwork has been emailed home and can be emailed to our office or dropped off at the junior high office this week. There is still time to sign up for either, if you have any questions please contact the junior high office. Thank you and Go Storm!
