We have eight students participating in this year’s Illinois Elementary All-State Chorus! These students were nominated and then selected, the chorus concert will take place in Peoria, IL on the last day of the Illinois Music Educators Conference! Congratulations to these students, and we hope they have a great experience!
6th grade science students finished a STEM project based on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! They drew prototypes of their balloon design and today they constructed their balloons! Happy Thanksgiving!
Students in Ms. Crabtree’s class put their adding and multiplying decimals skills to work. They had to plan a Thanksgiving dinner, make a grocery list, and then add up the cost.

Turkey Bowling was quite the success this year for our elementary and junior high students and staff.
Reminder: BVJH/BVE will dismiss at 2:00 on Tuesday, 11/22/22, for Thanksgiving Break. Progress reports will come home with students and there will be NO Brainstorm. School resumes on Monday, 11/28/22. We wish all of our Bureau Valley communities a Happy Thanksgiving!

Bureau Valley Junior High students enjoyed this beautiful day outside with a scavenger hunt for PE. Students used teamwork and cooperation to navigate their way through each clue all over the campus grounds.
