Writing and Walking Like an Egyptian! The 6th grade social studies class deciphered each others hieroglyphics of Ancient Egypt. They also learned about Ancient Egyptian art. The important body parts had to be drawn properly according to Ancient Egyptian artists.
Mrs. Kuelper’s fifth grade social studies class has been learning about the Revolutionary War. The students created a timeline and had to put the events in order.
7C was Mrs.Schoff’s first class to earn 15 minutes of their choice. They decided to spend their time outside on the playground this morning. Good job 7C for a job well done.

Red Ribbon Week is just around the corner for our BVE & BVJH buildings. Red Ribbon Week is October 24th-28th. We would love to have each student participate in the daily dress up days which are found in the flyer below. Remember to follow the school dress code policy. 4D celebrated reaching one of their class goals today! What a better way to start a Tuesday after a long weekend?
Due to the weather, there will be no football practice tonight. All students will go home or to The Anchor if they plan on attending the junior high girls basketball game.
Thank you to Mrs. Endress for all her help with our STEM activity. The fourth graders experimented with their balloon rockets to gain a better understanding of potential and kinetic energy.

A special thank you to David Ferguson who donated $500 to our junior high football program. The donation comes in honor of Bruce Weidner, former Bureau Valley JFL coach who passed away this summer. We thank Mr. Ferguson for extending Bruce’s legacy and for supporting our football program.
