Mrs. Kuelper’s fifth grade students received their secret Santa socks from their gift exchange.

Congratulations to the December BVJH Students of the Month! These students showed a positive influence on the BVJH student body through extraordinary qualities of character, citizenship, service, and leadership.

BVJH & BVE were jammin out in their Christmas jammies today! Tomorrow is our final day before break and it’s ugly Christmas sweater day! Also do not forget we have a 2:00 dismissal tomorrow as well!

Mrs. Bell’s class completed a gingerbread themed day. They created energy efficient gingerbread houses using different food material for insulation, weather stripping, smart meter, solar cell, and Christmas lights. They did a great job!

Thank you ☺️ WFMT!! We are so excited about their donation to our program!

Congratulations to December BVE Student's of the Month. These students show great character, citizenship, service, and leadership. We are proud of them!

BVE/BVJH Staff and student did a wonderful job displaying their Christmas Spirit for this year’s door decorating contest. Congrats to our 3-8 kitchen staff for 1st place, Mr. McNabb for 2nd place and Mrs. DeMay for 3rd place. Students are invited to wear Christmas pajamas on Monday and Christmas Sweaters on Tuesday next week along with our staff! 🎄⚡️💙

6th grade is working with data sets and different ways to show them. Today they made predictions about how many drops of water can fit on a penny. They then made stem and leaf plots to compare their predictions with their actual results. They will then find the average number to describe the data.

3rd Grade created hot chocolate mugs with marshmallows during SEL. The students listed people, places and things that bring them happiness, joy and "warm their heart" on the marshmallows. Enjoy the creativity!

Mrs. Kuelper’s fifth grade science class researched several endangered species. The students had to locate the continent or ocean where the endangered animal lives. They learned that some species are only found on certain continents.

Mrs. DeMay’s 7th grade Life Science classes finished their microscope unit by looking at their cheek cells under the microscope. This process is called a Heat-Fix Stain, using a candle and Iodine!

Mrs. Knapp’s BVHS Teaching Assistant Krysten Walowski did an amazing job creating this interactive bulletin board for our hallway.

Fourth grade artists are using watercolor resist technique to create snowflakes. They drew their snowflakes with white oil pastels, then painted over the snowflakes with cool and neutral watercolors.

BVE and BVJH Brainstorm students and staff had a great time today at Circa 21 experiencing Santa Claus The Musical 🎵.
Thank you to Mrs. Corwin and her staff for creating this opportunity for our BV families.

This is a kind reminder of our Junior High Student Council Christmas Movie Night! Permissions slips needed to be already turned in by your child. They will be starting Home Alone at 5:30 with doors opening at 5:15!
Congratulations to our 6th grade boys basketball team finishing 12-1 overall this season!! Good job Coach Gruber and to all athletes involved! Go Storm!!
