Scholastic Bowl members earned an ice cream party because they scored 300 points in last night's match!! Way to go!
6th grade science classes discussed how and why the equator is warmer then the polar regions today! The question they answered was: How does the Earth’s shape affect temperatures on Earth’s surface!!

Our third quarter incentive for our junior high and elementary was today! The elementary was able to participate in various stations planned our staff while the junior high went to Westwood and a movie at the Apollo! Great job everyone! One more quarter to go!! Way to go Storm!

The Scholastic Bowl teams continue on with their strong season. They swept Streator on Monday and LaSalle on Tuesday! We will be recognizing our 8th graders on Thursday in Manlius.
Mrs. Bell's student teacher, Mrs. Cassidy, completed an activity today with the students to learn geometry terms about lines, rays, and more.
The 2023 BVEC Art Festival was held this morning in DePue. Congrats to Mrs. Knapp and Mrs. Carton's talented students on all their hard work and awards.
Scholastic Bowl team had a tough loss to Ottawa Monday 230-140 & 135-120. Tuesday, A team beat Peru 255-130 & 200-195; B team beat Peru 215-125 & 150-85. The A team and B team both swept Princeton yesterday! A team 250-90 & 165-125; B team 135-105 & 140-45. Current record 37-6-1!
All Bureau Valley Elementary Schools want to thank everyone who participated in our Literacy Night for Kenny & the Dragon. We would like to thank our One School, One Book committee, parents, students, and the community for being involved with reading and our special night. We are looking forward to more Literacy Nights in the future.
