Today, we celebrated our favorite four-legged friend, Wrigley! The students had a blast honoring the pup who brings so much joy, comfort, and kindness to our school. They decorated “Wrigley’s Kindness Magnets” to spread cheer to staff and local nursing home residents—just like Wrigley spreads happiness wherever she goes! Sharing stories about how Wrigley makes their days brighter and practiced ways to spread kindness like she does. Wrigley’s job is to make Mondays not so ruff 🐾, and today, we made sure to return the favor with lots of love and kindness. 💙

4th graders in Mrs. Kluever's and Mrs. Henegar's classes have been reading about healthy and eco-friendly eating around the world. One story focused on adding bugs to your daily diet. To culminate, students had an opportunity to sample flavored crickets and bug suckers!

Good morning. We are reminding everyone that BV schools will dismiss today at 11:00 for our SIP day. There will be no lunch served. We also wanted to let you know tomorrow's breakfast will be strawberry bagel instead of cini minis. Have a wonderful day!

For the past few weeks in social studies, our 4th graders have been taking what they've learned in their economics unit, and applied it to planning their own dream small businesses. The students got creative and came up with funding ideas, pricing, charitable donations, even creating marketing with their own slogans and logos. Good job to our future entrepreneurs!

This morning we had visitors from our high school's FFA. They are celebrating National FFA week and came to speak to 3rd grade about what FFA is. They were nice enough to provide each 3rd grade student with a book called "Farmer George Plants a Nation." Thanks Kaitlyn & Peyton!
