Mrs. Henegar's class had so much fun when Humphrey visited their classroom! He read all about gross foods, added mixed numbers, and got to try out the slide at recess! Thanks for visiting, Humphrey!
Humphrey was able to visit kindergarten again today. 😊 He helped us check the weather, ate snack with us, helped Isaac walk on the balance beam, and he even helped us read another word family book. The kids LOVE having Humphrey visit our class! 🥰 🐹
Humphrey, from our district story, visited Mr. DeMay and his students again for the day! Humphrey got to learn about about the inventions of Edison, coding on a computer, and today was the first day of roller skating! He really enjoyed his time skating! On to 4th grade tomorrow!
Kindergarten Pre-Registration will be February 20th - 23rd for any student who will be 5 years old before Sep. 1, 2024.
Registration packets were sent home with our current qualifying PK students. If you have a student who didn't receive a packet please contact the office.

Humphrey joined Ms. Davis's 1st grade today and made a new friend (Theo the rabbit) that shared some carrots. He also put together a puzzle, met the 4th graders as they helped their 1st grade friends with a project and went to computer lab. He got to shop at Tiny Target and read books. He loved building creations and even drew a picture of himself!!
Humphrey visited Mrs. Dye's 2nd grade class today! He learned about Helen Keller, practiced his math facts, helped draw a picture in Art and enjoyed PE and Music. He attended the Q and U wedding and enjoyed our Valentine's Day party with us! We had a great day!
BV Schools will not be in attendance on Friday, February 16th and President's Day Monday, February 20th.

Humphrey spent the day with his friends in 5th Grade. He shared Valentine's Day treats, played spelling basketball, attended the Q and U wedding, and worked on some perspective drawings.
This is a reminder that Bureau Valley Schools will have a SIP day tomorrow and will dismiss at 11:00am.
There will be no lunch served.

Mrs, Kluever's 4th grade students have been reaearching national parks. in a formal letter, they have included background knowledge, as well as questions, to ask an expert. They hope to receive some mail in the near future!
