Humphrey spent the Leap Day with his 5th Grade pals. He continued his excellence with Greek and Latin Roots, helped the class compete in a nerve-wracking game of "On this Day", solved the mystery of the Lost Colony of Roanoke, and worked on some tips for handling stress.

Humphrey visited Mrs. Krug's 3rd grade! Students took him along to all their classes. FFA members read them a book and told them all the cool things about FFA. They taught Humphrey about Thomas Edison, played ELA and math games, learned about fossils in Science, and even took him roller skating! We can't wait for his next visit!

This morning we had three visitors from our high school's FFA (Katelyn-Sr, Ella - Sr., and Peyton - So.). They are celebrating National FFA week this week, and came to visit us this morning. The FFA was nice enough to give each 3rd grade student a book called "Farmer George Plants a Nation." Each book has a personalized message from a Bureau Valley High School FFA member. Katelyn, Ella, and Peyton also read some of the story to our 3rd graders, and posed for some pictures before they left. Great job to everyone!
