In honor of Valentine’s Day coming up and learning about the heart this past week, Adapted PE created their very own hearts out of a ziplock bag! Students had fun testing them out by filling them with air from a straw to portray the heart filling with blood.

The Chemistry classes are working on drawing Lewis Structures, which are used to model organic molecules. The paper cards represent individual atoms, and the bingo chips are the atom's electrons. Each atom has a different color bingo chip to help with electron book keeping.

BVHS Girls Basketball Announcement: Thursday, Feb. 10th will be the last girls regular season game @ Riverdale. Game times are 5:30 and 7:00. Riverdale will be requiring masks for coaches, players, officials and spectators.

Today the Physical Science classes are exploring the properties of series circuits, parallel circuits, and short circuits. The voltage and current measurements correlate with the observed brightness of the bulbs.

The Physical Education classes are partaking in an Eclipse Ball Unit. Students practiced their skills last week. Today, tournament competition started to determine a champion. Great job to all of the teams!
