BVHS Softball Scheduling Update for Monday, April 4th: Varsity Softball and F/S Softball will be played at BVHS this afternoon. Newman can't host today due to wet field conditions. Both softball teams will now travel to Newman on Thursday. Good luck ladies!

BVHS Baseball/Softball scheduling update for 4-1: varsity baseball and varsity softball will be played at HOME today at 4:30. Those games were scheduled to be in Riverdale but have now been moved to BVHS. There will be NO FS baseball or softball today! Varsity games ONLY!

In a flame test, movement of an atom's electron from the excited state to the ground state results in the release of light. Each element produces a characteristic color. Students in Physical Science worked to identify two unknown elements using the flame test.
Celebrating Honor Roll recognition with cookies and soda. Keep up the great academic achievements through the 4th quarter.
Students in Driver’s Education class worked together to complete a map reading activity. Students were challenged to find the distance in miles between cities in Illinois, determine which roadways would be the best traveled routes from different parts of a city, identified which cities are the most populated in the state, what symbols and different roadway markings on a map indicated, and how to find recreational areas. All on the same map! Students had no idea there was so much information a map could provide.
A couple students were then able to apply their map reading skills to get us back to Bureau Valley High School today in the Driver’s Education car during their behind-the-wheel drive time.
Congratulations to the newest inductees to the Bureau Valley National Honor Society.
BV FS Baseball lost a tough one to Ottawa Marquette 7-2. Elijah Endress had 9 strike-outs. Corbin Chimm and Landon Birdsley each had 3 hits.

Bryce Helms and Corbin Chimm combined for a 4 inning shutout of Stark County in tonight's FS Baseball win. Peyton Gerdes had a two run double and Landon Birdsley had 3 RBI.
