Clothing and Textile students learning how to sew on buttons. They all did great!!
The F/S boys cross-country team took first at the 17-team Boiler Invitational with a team score of 30 points, narrowly beating out ROWVA (31 points). Adrian Gallardo (4th) was the top finisher for the Storm with a time of 19:38.96 on the hilly 3.0-mile course at Baker Park.
Elijah Endress rushed for 249 yards and 5 touchdowns on the way to a 35-14 victory over Mendota. Brock Shane was 5 for 5 on extra point kicks. Cameron Lemons rushed for 102 yards; Brady Hartz added 63 rushing yards. (Photo credit Scott Anderson)

Western Civ students battled it out today. Each of them researched a figure from Ancient Greece and made a series of arguments to support their significance to civilization. Thales earns the big upset over top seeded Aristotle. A true Cinderella story!

In the true spirit of homecoming week, students requested that Mr. Price join a competitive game of mat ball as pitcher!
Parade starts at 6:00. Due to the slick field conditions, homecoming activities after the parade will be moved into the Storm Cellar. This includes coronation and volleyball (in lieu of powder puff). Weather permitting, the evening will end with a bonfire outside.
Reminder that the BVHS Homecoming parade will be starting through Manlius at 6:00 PM tonight (Thursday, September 21st). #GOSTORM

A certain chemical reaction first causes a color change and the evolution of heat. Then, the reaction absorbs heat. By conducting controlled experiments, Chemistry students deduce which reactant is responsible for each effect.
The boys cross country team took first place with 23 points last night at Baker Park, beating out Kewanee, Galva, Rockridge, and ROWVA. Adrian Gallardo (3rd, 19:37), Alex Gallardo (5th, 20:06), and Maddox Moore (9th, 20:55) all recorded top-ten finishes.
