8th grade Physical Science students are learning about Position and Motion. Today's lab was about "How can motion change?" Students were given 5 plastic tubes, one marble, a plastic bowl, and masking tape. The task was to create a tube slide that would allow you to observe how the motion of a marble changes as it rolls down the slide. All of the groups were able to successfully complete the task.

Mrs. Hoyt and Mr. McNabb's 8th grade Physical Science classes are studying about position and motion. Students collaborated with their group members while completing the lab activity "How do you get there from here?" The students are beginning to realize just how important it is to give specific instructions and enough details in order for someone to know exactly how to follow their instructions.
