PreK-5 summer school will be indoors at the Manlius campus due to the weather today. All towns will have normal bus times. We still plan to have a lot of fun on our last day of Camp Adventure!
Camp Adventure Summer School starts Monday, June 7th. Please remember to have your child wear their mask and bring a water bottle.
Bus time from Walnut is 8:10 a.m. and 11:50 a.m.
Lonny Peach, Bureau Valley Walnut’s Custodian, will retire at the end of the year after 11 years of service. We will be celebrating his dedication to the district with a food truck on Thursday, May 27th. Buck Shot BBQ will be in the school parking lot and ready to serve the public from 12-1:30. If the weather cooperates, Lonny will be at the Park District shelter celebrating with staff if you would like to wish him well as he spends his days riding around in his Chevy Chevelle.
Reminder to have Walnut students bring their water bottle and wear sunscreen as they will be outside most of the day.
Be sure to bring a water bottle today as Walnut is under a boil order.
BV has a custodian position for the 2nd shift that travels between BV Walnut and BV Manlius. Applicants should send a cover letter, resume, and letters of recommendation to Mrs. Cady at kcady@bureauvalley.net. Call 815-379-2900 with questions. Application deadline is June 1st.
