📚The Bureau Valley JV Scholastic Bowl team went 2-0 Thursday night defeating Cambridge by a score of 240 to 120, and beating United 320 to 110! Leading the Storm in toss-ups was Kaleb Workman with 16 toss-ups, Bradyn Arians with 6 toss-ups, Stone Sabin with 5 toss-ups, and Alex Attig with 2 toss-ups. The JV team is now 3-1! 📚

📚The Bureau Valley Varsity Scholastic Bowl team went 2-0 Thursday night defeating Cambridge by a score of 240 to 70, and winning a close match with United 230 to 220 in overtime! Atticus Middleton answered the overtime question to give the Storm the win against United! Leading the way for the Storm was Tony Zueger with 7 toss-ups, Gus Anderson with 4 toss-ups, Andy Zueger and Jeremy Clay each with 2 toss-ups, and Ivan Anderson and Atticus Middleton each with 1 toss-up. The varsity team is now 4-1! 📚

Western Civ students teamed up to cover 100 years of history from all over Europe. Groups presented to each other on a variety of conflicts to lay a groundwork for understanding the Thirty Years War and the ensuing development of nation-states that helped shape modern Europe.
