Hands-on learning in Mrs. Shimmin's Food Science class! 🧫 Students are exploring potential biological, chemical, and physical food contaminants by swabbing various surfaces and growing bacteria on agar in petri dishes. This experiment is a key step in understanding the connection between these contaminants and foodborne illnesses.

Public Speaking students listened to an interview with Bob Beckwith, ordinary hero of Ground Zero, as they prepare to interview people about their experiences around 9/11 and the connections they make to more recent events.

Congrats to Ryan Wasilewski, Bella Birkey, and Taylor Neuhalfen for receiving an academic honor from @CollegeBoard National Rural and Small Town Recognition Program via @MyBigFuture. We believe there's so much that makes our students unique and an asset to colleges, and with this award, we can help more students celebrate that.
The Physics class investigated constant linear motion and used their "buggy cars" to determine the marked distances.
Statistics students presented their projects on bias-related questions, where we aimed to influence the responses of our survey participants.
