The physics students are building and testing their Rube Goldberg machines. They enjoy testing/redesigning their steps to accomplish the task of "feeding a pet." They will have a series of 10 steps that lead to the task. They only touch the machines to begin the series.

The Honors Biology students built their eco-columns and are in the process of monitoring/evaluating the cycling of substances through the system.

The Advanced Biology dual credit students investigated the catalase enzyme found in liver. The enzyme breaks down hydrogen peroxide in cells and the students were able to experiment with temperature, pH, and concentration to find the optimal conditions for enzyme activity.
