The football game at Monmouth-Roseville will resume on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. The bus will depart BVHS at 8:30 a.m.
In an attempt to get the game in before inclement weather, the Varsity Football game at Monmouth-Roseville on Friday, September 27th has been changed to a 5:00 p.m. kickoff (rather than 7:00 p.m.). The bus will depart at 2:30 p.m.
Thanks to the Cattlemen’s Association for the donation to the Home Ec Department! The funds assist with beef purchases for the high school and junior high Home Ec. classes.

The Manlius Fire Protection District was presented with a check for $400. The donation was collected from Wednesday’s Hat Day, which was in remembrance of the heroes of 9/11.

HAT DAY - Wednesday, September 11th
For a donation of as least $1, students and staff will be permitted to wear a hat throughout the school day this Wednesday. All money collected will be donated to the Manlius Fire/Ambulance departments.

This morning, August 27, 2019, the school district was made aware of an alleged threat to the school from a student who was not on school grounds. The Bureau County Sheriff's Department was notified immediately. The administration and staff then performed safety protocol steps to ensure the safety of all students and staff in the building. The Sheriff’s department swiftly contained the situation by placing the student into custody. The situation will continue to be monitored by the Sheriff’s department and school administration. The District takes all threats seriously and will continue to investigate any and all allegations to ensure that we provide the safest environment possible for everyone in our district.
Welcome to the 2019-20 BVHS School Year!
BVHS main entrance doors will open at 7:15 and breakfast will be served. The day will then begin with a short assembly in the auditorium at 8:00 that will be followed by homeroom and a modified 2:00 dismissal schedule.

A few notes:
- All 9-12 students must enter through the main BVHS entrance.
- Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. all school year.
- To accommodate buses, student drop offs may wish to use the East entrance to the parking lot.
Manlius Backpack Night is August 15th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. An opportunity to organize lockers, walk through classrooms, and see teachers.
BVHS Band Camp Dates:
August 5 & 6 = 9:00-11:00 a.m.
August 12, 13, & 14 = 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Arrive on time at the doors nearest the band room to meet Mr. Gehm.
