Have you ever considered all the things that could contaminate your food?! Food science is this week! Students swabbed two samples of raw hamburger and two samples of lettuce, one of each was refrigerated overnight and one was left out on the counter! Next, students added their swabs to petry dishes with agar! Students will now get to observe the growing bacteria for the next week! Check out our results after just two days!

Students in Introduction to Agriculture are learning to measure distance, temperature, volume, and density properly! They had to create the perfect paper cube, correctly measure a "dangerous chemical" that ended up being jello, and then see how well their cube would hold liquid! Finally, they measured the density of their solid by finding the mass and volume! Measurement is an important part of Agriculture!
